Family size rooms

Post  Shortie on Wed Oct 20, 2010 1:38 pm

I have been asked about family sized rooms or even apartments with adjoining rooms.
most of the apartment complexes here have only studios which is a shame as both Alykanas and Alykes are ideal for families with the gently shelving sea and the Greek people who love kids.
obviously the big 2 are geared up for families, but some just want a simple Grek style holiday even with a family.

We (2+2)stayed in one room at the Letsos for a week this year.
It was only one room and a bathroom (with a small kitchenette)but we had more than enough space.....we pushed all 4 beds together to create a giant one.
The kids loved it (they are both under 6 by the way) and we had a very decent stay.
the week in August was only £240 for the room which in my opinion is a bargain.

As stated Elpida has several 2 beroomed apartments around the complex with excellent Aircon too but at a price 50 euro a week, but well worth it when it's hot hot hot !!!!
Elpida is available online with lots of the regular online agents look out for those special bargain prices that appear from time to time especially during the post Xmas break !!!

It's one of the first hotels you pass entering Alykanas from the airport end, just on your left !!

On the way down to Aklykanas beach if your going down the side of greedy greek way, only bad point it hasnt got a pool but as you know you can use any, This is a little bit of the brief on first choice

Simple, affordable and clean accommodation with a homely edge. It’s one of the things the Greeks get consistently right, and the Draganikos is no different. Accommodation here is split into studios and two-bedroom apartments with whitewashed walls and fuss-free pine furniture. Kitchenettes are part of the set-up, too, as well as balconies or terraces with countryside or side sea views. It’s a really small place with just 14 rooms to its name, so it comes as no surprise there’s not a stash of extras on offer. But if you’re after a pool, you can use the one at the White House – it’s less than a ten-minute walk away. But the beach is closer – you’ll be there in two.

They look quite nice and they are called Draganikos Studios & Apartments spelt correctly lol Smile
